A Paranormal Pair of Ghouls – Mysterious Universe

“I’m not some New Age nut who claims to feel ‘vibes,’ but I don’t need a crystal ball to know those things I encountered were screwing with me.” So remarks a person who, like many others, had come up against the “Men in Black” phenomenon, one of the more truly frightening and puzzling peripheral mysteries surrounding UFOs. Nick Redfern relates a bizarre and scary story here, with some quite interesting sidelights. In From M.I.B. to Bonnie & Clyde (Really)! Nick shares a personal tale or two that, while less addling than his other Mysterious Universe post, are just as intriguing and unusual. But such weirdnesses were literally the norm for John Keel, as noted in Special Cases–The Long Island File (51): Just Another Average Day. It turns out that “Rubin” is an absolute “bust” as an Earth-saver, although he’s remarked as brainy upon his own world. There are some mind-stopping passages in this post which seem to be 1967 references to possible alien abduction and animal mutilation elements. (WM)
