A bogus cryptozoologist posing as a US federal employee tasked with researching Bigfoot has been charged in Arkansas with possessing and viewing child pornography. The actions of this individual are beyond reprehensible. Sadly, describing what we think would constitute justice in our paranormal community would no doubt be considered illegal, so instead we will quote Loren Coleman: “The United States Department of Interior does not hire cryptozoologists to track Bigfoot, let alone support folks doing that as a formal job position.” Unfortunately, while one example of the worst humanity has to offer is out on bail, another man depicting the best we can be has passed away: Bigfoot Searcher Dave Hilts Dies. David was a close friend of Daniel Perez, (former editor of Bigfoot Times) and spent many happy hours with him searching for Sasquatch in northern California. He was a good man who enjoyed the outdoors, loved his family, actively participated in MENSA, and made more noteworthy accomplishments than can be mentioned in this short paragraph.
