We always knew Sharknado was based on fact, and this story proves it : ) Recent waterspouts in Mexico have been picking fish up out of their watery homes and dropping them on land, much to the dismay of residents and sheer delight of local cats. Over in the US, Mystery Monkeys Spotted in Ohio. Since we know these simians were not deposited by a rogue waterspout, we are left with the assumption that the amiable, tame creatures are someone’s pets. At least they’re not dropping out of the sky–Curious George was only a book, after all. (CM)
