Brent Swancer has been perusing the dark halls of Reddit for stories to compel us to never again leave the safety of our homes for the great outdoors. This first series of tales describes encounters with menacing faceless beings out in the woods. Witnesses further describe these entities as able to mimic the natural sounds of the woods (an effective tool to lure in prey), and inspiring feelings of intense menace. Swancer goes on to discuss Strange Cases of Mysterious Stairs in the Wilderness That Lead to Nowhere. A truly perplexing phenomenon, these stairs may appear as ancient ruins or pristine with white carpeting. Evidently they should be avoided at all costs.
