Bjorn Steinbekk, a drone pilot from Reykjavik, has captured incredible footage of the eruption at the Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland as lava spewed from its main vent and ran down its sides.
Police and coast guard officials raced to the scene 25 miles from Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, after the eruption at around 9.45pm, but the public has been advised to stay away from the area.
