Elon Musk sold 4.4 million shares of Tesla valued at nearly $4 billion on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to filings with the Security Exchange Commission.
The tweet prompted a storm of amusing responses, including one post which implored Elon ‘bring it back’ and shared an image of one of the first publicly sold Coca-Cola bottles in 1894.
At a meeting of Twitter staff on Monday, one asked: ‘How does the board and Mr Musk plan on dealing with a mass exodus considering the acquisition is by a person with questionable ethics?’
Vijaya Gadde, 48, broke down in tears on Monday, Politico reported, as she briefed her team via videolink on the future of the company under Musk.
