The Future Of UFOlogy – Academia

Vice president and Research director of the Anomaly Foundation in Spain, Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos offers up his observations and thoughts on Jacques Vallee’s 2104 CAIPAN lecture called “UAP: A Strategy For Research.” Olmos disagrees somewhat with Vallee’s view that the complexity of the UFO encounters defy rational description and instead suggests there are still many unanswered questions because there aren’t enough recent cases to study. Olmos also suggests that UFO research go beyond simple scientific data and become more “eyewitness centered, not report centered”. He suggests that top scientists and experts form a worldwide team to exhaustively study the top 100 UFO cases, what he calls the “selective strategy.” (MB)
