The Phenomenon: A Brief Review – Metaphysical Speculations

James Fox’ long-awaited UFO documentary is finally available for digital download, and Bernardo Kastrup says the wait was worth it. Kastrup appreciates Fox’ effort for “filtering out the abundance of garbage, gullibility, hysteria and nonsense that, unfortunately, prevails in this field.” Kastrup would have liked more upon “the most significant part of the movie–the Stanford School of Medicine’s analysis of “metamaterials”–but says “There is much food for thought in there.” Compare this with CNN Brian Lowry’s complimentary ‘The Phenomenon’ Updates the UFO Debate Through New Pentagon Disclosures. Lowry is struck by the assemblage of “former officials that lend credence to the notion the government knows much more than it has shared” on the subject. And Billy Cox emphasizes what an effort it was to bring this documentary to fruition. Monster in the Ring focuses upon Fox’ decisions, including the very difficult one of choosing a CE-3 case to end the documentary, which earlier reviews we read emphasize is the most compelling part of the movie.
