The Strange Saga Of Boston’s Flying Goliath – Mysterious Universe

The northeastern region of the United States is an area rich in folklore and legend. Sea monsters, the wendigo, the Jersey Devil, Champ, and even bigfoot all live in the tales handed down from pre-colonial days. One such story with which you may not be familiar is the terrifying black giant that made an appearance in Boston back in August of 1765 and other New England states 13 years later. Quite frankly, it is a tale unlike anything else with which we are familiar. Did Morgawr: Monster Of The Deep pay a visit to the waters off Saltern Cove, Devon, U.K. back in August of 2010? We love us some Nick Redfern, but he might be reaching a bit on this one as the pictures that were snapped that day–provided via a link to another article–are anything but clear and could show just about anything. If you are into faerie bush-dwelling giant turkeys that have the ability to morph into screaming canines, then Irish Phoenix (1897) is for you. (MM)
