Here’s one for our readers who are horror movie fans–only it’s not a movie. The story begins in 1988 with the purchase of a dream home and quickly devolves into a living nightmare that includes multiple exorcisms, a hidden room, and eventually a broken family. And a profitable book deal. Think of that what you will. Tales of demons are widespread though. The Mysterious Demon Dog of North Carolina describes what sounds like a hybrid creature to us, part hell-hound, part Dogman. Whatever the beast may be, it consistently appears near an old stone church and scares the living hell out of those driving past just like the sermons that were probably delivered from the pulpit of that church.
