I was driving to work down a country road and noticed a fast moving ball of light following a train track. thinking it was a train i groaned, hoping to not be late for work, but when i looked again, it was just a ball of light. it followed the tracks and disappeared. it seemed to disappear into the horizon toward the sun, but when i first saw it, it was definitely a ball of light. there was a person in a car in front of me who must have seen it as well, but we did not communicate nor did i get a license plate number.

this only lasted at tops 10 – 15 seconds, but it was the oddest thing i've ever seen in my life
