Nick Redfern offers an interview with the late Colin Bennett on the meaning and role of the UFO Contactee phenomenon. It’s thoughtful and provocative. But it’s also a little theoretical, and poor John Keel appears to be deep in the reality in Special Cases–The Long Island File (78): Dave, Princess Moon Owl, and More. A “mummy-like” Appell, a “Leader” sporting three “feathers” on his head, and hostile “Energy People”: the late-60s “Contactee” business that enmeshed Keel seems rather different in tenor than Bennett’s observations.
