The strange lights cavorting around in the early morning Wisconsin sky on February 27th were quickly identified as seagulls by the local Fox News TV team, but the “vapor trails” apparently following the birds stymied some people. Mick West takes the later “explanatory” Fox 6 video in their article, and in Explained: Mysterious Lights over Milwaukee 2-22-18 shows how an over-exposing camera created the weird effects. In Oxnard UFO Sighting – 22/23 March 1957 Kevin Randle takes apart an old report and shows it is a conflation of two separate events. Nevertheless, there seems to have been a radar/visual sighting on the evening of March 23rd, 1957 involving “targets” with speeds of about 3600 mph. (WM)
