Sten Lindgren and the Enigmatic BEA – Hakan Blomqvist's Blog

Hakan Blomqvist tells a somewhat strange story about a claimed Swedish contactee. It seems that Sten Lindgren wasn’t terribly consistent in his claims, and Blomqvist “never found any concrete evidence than Sten was in physical contact with an alien group.” It seems the only hope Hakan holds that Sten Lindgren was as he said was “the enigmatic woman referred to as BEA.” We turn to John Keel and A Letter from Coral Lorenzen, November 3, 1966. These letters strike a human chord to the history of ufology, and the vicissitudes of UFO groups such as the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO). In A Letter to Andrew Mills, November 22, 1966 we see John at work, trying to get UFO work. He’s gotten hold of what seems an amazing–and perhaps poorly remembered?–flap complete with people chasing small humanoids, a creature with glowing red eyes in a strange object, armed posses, hoaxes and apparent government hijinks. It’s a pity John didn’t get the commission to write this stuff up! (WM)
